The past semester has been the most dramatic semester in my entire poly life.

All I can say is...there's KARMA. And some little twerps can just stfu because they are in no position to judge the 9 of us. Some people are just so shallow and ignorant. The media industry is very small...So,

I was browsing through myspace and found out that the girl of the band Allura aka Inch, is highly likely the girl I attended some mediacorp class with...about 3 years ago.

first I met Pepper at Lwssom while learning singing, then I gradually heard about this girl Inch from Jonathan (Karthi's sem) and now I think...it's really her!

well, the reason why I remember her is cuz she's called INCH.

Yesterday HT and me were gg to EMI to collect 小猪's posters (lol) on a cab, when we were reaching, our mercs cab hit the sonata in front.

we were rather stoned after the incident, and still a little shocked on e way to Vic's movie press conference afterwards.

anyway the funny thing is, it was a rather loud bang, and the mercs cab merely had a little dent on its car plate, but the back of the sonata was dented LOL...

mercs cost at least 1 tenth of a million bucks leh...of cuz durable la...wahaha.

yesterday, Death came to my head.

Of course i didn't think of ending my life! -_-

First it was the accident, then it was the movie premiere of [Linger] which stars Vic Chou and Li Bing Bing. It was an interesting love story which features supernatural stuff.

then it was the death of local comedian MC King.

all in a night. It's not like I was a fan of MC King, but his death was a sudden thing man. Never heard of him having illnesses, was a funny character, etc, and BAM, he dies. at 40.

Ok I hate to be the one to dampen ppl's moods...but lately,
I've become more disappointed than I already am at a friend's behaviour.

I'm guessing if she reads this, she will understand what I mean, and hopefully not take it against me for writing about my feelings on her situation here.

It's not like I'm blatantly naming people too anyway...

I am really disappointed in her.
It's scary and sad how I feel this way to the point where I don't even want to speak to her for the time being.

I don't like seeing my friends make mistakes, especially mistakes like this where it will concern so much more people than just the 2 of them.

Sometimes, we have to look at the bigger picture and can't just say "I don't know" and do stuff for our own happiness while others watch on in pain.

I know I shouldn't judge a friend based on things they do based on how they rule by their heart and not by their head, but this is something I cannot tolerate.

I used to think I'm pretty easygoing, but sometimes it feels like I have to be harsh in order for some things to be done.
Although, it's not always up to me to decide.

I just can't take what she's doing. It's just wrong.

Being too wild can be a compliment (spontaneity) as well as a negative point and my dear friend, you can be too wild at times that it becomes too much to bear.

School's been a drag too.
I hate to say it but I'm FUCKING SICK of Radio Heatwave.

Save me, I have spoken the forbidden.

I am not sick of Radio. Neither am I sick of Heatwave.

I just hate it when it's put together. Sounds weird?

Well, let's just say I enjoyed my duties but when fucked up people gimme fucked up justifications that aren't worthy of my attention, I get fed up.

Been a rather good week.

Went for the gala premier of Hero, not bad but i'll rate it 3/5.

I woke up at 5.30am today and went to send my parents off at the airport.

They're off to Hokkaido, Japan! I believed they'd have reached as I'm typing this.

a week w/o my parents...most will prob grab the chance to stay out late, etc...but I pretty much live the day the same way I do when they're around.

I mean, if I wana stay out late, I'd ask. There's no need/no point going all out during their absence...there's just no meaning in that, lol.

Randomness aside, I don't know what to do next tuesday. I don't know if there's gona be singing rehearsal although I'm pretty sure VA doors will be opened as long as we need to practice...but it's tuesday leh.

Shall I just miss practice on tuesday and have fun with my friends?
The songs are not even picked and I don't feel prepared.

If looks could kill, I'd have died yesterday.

It's not because I bumped into someone hot, or angered someone, but it was more like the latter...

I was taking the lrt home as usual, and after a few stops, there was an empty seat beside where I stood. I looked around and seeing there were still a lot of people and most were wearing heels, I decided I'd pass la, but apparently nobody seemed to want to sit too, so I thought oh well, someone might wana sit later on then.

And I turned back as we were halfway to the next stop and still...it was unoccupied so I went to sit and wow, right away everyone looked with such fierce looks...wow.

I like it that school has started cuz... :)

But I hate that we have to queue for food in the canteen, queue for cubicles in the toilet, wait for the snail lift in Block 53, miss buses because they're too packed, and well, basically the CROWD.

But everything is minor because I get to see what I look forward to.

As much as work gets to me a little sometimes, I don't have much regrets now about choosing IBP because I feel I'm learning, and will grow up more after this attachment period.

It seems ironic however, that I find myself becoming less mature in the way I handle problems at work despite claiming I'll mature from this period of 21 weeks.

I actually threw a tantrum about my thumbdrive getting a virus last week. I actually lost my temper.

But it's over and I really need to control my anger.

It's just...I find it hard to accept when I have justifications for some of my actions but yet I'm unheard.

It's all random, but I just need a listening ear.

I don't know why I teared up while talkin to Eve earlier on.

Initially, I was quite angry at the misunderstanding because to see something else being read from your actions which is not what you had intended is just exasperating.

Perhaps I was also stressed out with starting attachment at a familar yet strange place at the same time that I just let it all out with my tears.

I just don't like it when people misread my intentions.

If she really wanted to go, I'd have let her, because it's no big deal in the sense whereby if I don't go, I won't die...so...it's ok.

I just don't understand why my intentions can be misread to such an extent where I seem almost fake and hypocritical when I really did not mean for things to be this way.

Perhaps my tears were mixed with some anger, exhaustion and fear of the new sem ahead.
exhaustion at having to keep up and keep from people thinking you are lazy, useless and fake.

我昨天对一位好友感到非常失望。

错，是彻底的失望。

你可以说，我是因为恋爱经验少，所以不了解。

但是我的看法是：你不需要恋爱经验来判断一些你也能用普通常识来解决的事。

我虽然不一定能说出我在一份感情里所要求什么，可是我非常清楚我不要什么。
为什么她能一而再再而三的被控制？

难道这些所谓重色轻友的人没发现，

当他们在感情上受到伤害时,都是会回到朋友身边哭诉吗？

别人可能会认为这是小事，也觉得我在小题大做。可是我就是不喜欢恋爱中的人突然变“笨”的可怕现象！
而当事人在作出一个愚蠢的决定时，我真的会非常生气。

(but please, if you know it's his bday or annivesary, then please don't ask me out in the first place. lol.)

A relationship is just a relationship...friendships are what stands true as time passes.
It sounds as if I'm so cynical towards love; but sometimes, you gotta let the head rule over the heart.

I don't usually reproach friends, because we are all equal and who am I to tell someone off?

But it has come to my attention that it seems as though friends are to be taken for granted and only called for when needed.

I actually woke up at 6.50am today. A first 6+ am kinda waking-up in a long time. All because Jason is flying off today haha.
So were Kailyn...and Mavis.
I almost couldn't make it in time to send him off lah!

Meanwhile, I've been having a taste of retail work and it's been fun! Although it's damn tiring and I am always very tempted to cab after work. But I'll think, "cabbing is gona take up 1/5 of my pay. nooo!"

and I'll hobble my way to the mrt station looking very tired and angry (can't help it lah, it's my eyessss) and try to forget that my feet HURT.

It's a whole new experience and I don't deny I get an indescribable sense of satisfaction whenever a customer smiles and is happy with their purchase. =D

well, it does help that I'm working in a leather handbag store. omg the bagsssss.

Everyday, Tai-Tais stream in; some alone, some with their hubbys. Sometimes, the husbands come by on their own, all in a bid to look for something to make their wives' day.

most buy 1-2 items. some, buy 4-5 or even up to 8 bags. Depending on the type of skin, the price range is different. Crocodile skin is the most expensive; we even have to wear gloves when handling the bags.
This tai-tai bought about 4 croco bags man. gosh. and I think she paid in cash? woo.

another lucky lady merely said what she wanted and her hubby bought, and rather willingly too. In e end, they bought countless wallets and bags, python skins, croco skins, ostrich skins etc. ALL.

( i did get a lil chill when i first saw the snake skin bags. omg)

It's interesting enough to observe customer behaviour and tai-tai traits. hehehe.

Yesterday marked the end of our last paper in poly life!

Mass Media in Singapore and Asia...

I was silently laughing to myself when I had to refer to the coverpage to write the module name...we've been calling it "m-a-s-i-n-a" for the longest time!

To think I used to think it was a malay lecturer.

Poly Life's been very interesting and eventful. I dare say I've grown up the most in this phase of my life.

Dealt with people of all sorts; of course I haven't met all the bad *cough* people there are in this world (and I wouldn't want to) but I've learnt to judge people more effectively...

It feels nice to watch the movie with my whole family because my mum especially, doesn't like gg to the movies.

Ytd morning I thought it'd be great for us all to have a night out, and with this movie, it's even better since it relates to us all in some way!

Glad we all enjoyed it.

It was a touching show.

Before that, Marcus, Jason, Lina, Yingmin and me went to the Great World arcade HAHA. I loveeee the bball game even more now!

Wow, if I didn't have a chance to chat with Yingmin ytd, I probably wouldn't get to know there were more unhappy people at the launch.

She, Marcus, Lina, Felicia actually came wanting to support Al and me, and here's what happened.

They got to the entrance and queued at theVIP queue which was empty.

They got re-directed to the General queue by the front ushers...saying
"please join the common queue."

YM: WHAT, now I'm a Commoner, eh?!

( I think having SIGNAGE IS REALLY A VERY IMPORTANT FACTOR)

She was pissed at the way the re-direction was phrased but nevertheless, she still went to the check out the "common" queue which was beyond long...and rather unbearable under the sweltering heat that afternoon.

So the lot of them went to the seats outside Powerhouse and awhile later when they decided to check back at the queue, it was gone.

She added that in the end, apparently, they stopped ticking against names in the list and just let everyone in. how can???

She was unhappy with the xiao mei mei ushers too. LOL...

Then because they went in in this manner, she got pissed and didn't take the goodie bag, and the drink coupon wasn't given to them as a result.

After they went in, they wanted to go get a drink, but were refused because they didn't have drink coupons.

YM: wtf you gimme one coke or green tea then so scared cuz i no drink coupon? I can go GIANT buy cartons to return u lor...

LOL. she's hilariousssss.

And in their fury, they walked out of Dragonfly muttering "BYE ALYSSA" and went out and she even told me the xiao mei mei said "whoa 他们真的走了"

Ytd was a great day~

(Celester so kanchiong...I haven't got time to blog and thank everybody he shoot me liao...lol)

Ytd was the Launch of the ARC Genesis album!

It was held at St James Dragonfly...

Prior to that, I woke up rather early and went to get my hair done before rushing down to VA to do makeup etc.

Then Leon/Agnes drove some of us over and while the rest cabbed over, we were familiarising ourselves with the venue.

There were some unpleasant things that happened...but let's not talk about it. But I did felt so much better after I ~~cried~~.

Ok here's a great shoutout of THANKS!!! to everyone who came to support me/Alyssa, Yanyi etc, and all of Revolution and this event.

Thank you to all of you who took time off to come support me. I don't know exactly who came and who didn't cuz some didn't come last minute and some came from Alyssa and YY's list. I was so confused!

By getting involved in an actual album, albeit small scaled one, but it really made me see,

there are more things to an album than the artiste.
Without the background support, who's the artiste?!
We'd just be plain looking people who probably can hold a tune, THAT'S ALL.

Also, the world doesn't revolve just around the artiste. The backstage crew, etc all those who work in the background work just as hard or harder than the artiste and earn so much less...ayo.

and it's very important to carry yourself as a humble person. There's soooo much more to learn. So what if you've got a headstart or a little bit more knowledge than the person next to you?
There are still things to be learnt and we should face each day with the right mentality.

A lot of things can happen that can make me disappointed. But amongst all, one of the most disappointing is to find out my friends smoke...

I used to get angry or even upset when I discover things like that back at sec school. In fact, I'm surprised at my perseverance.
I even remember HF risking making the guys angry when she hid their lighter...haha.

But now, I just get disappointed.

Why?

To many people, this might be a trivial matter...
It's just smoking...

Oh well, it's just my opinion...

Nisha and I went over to the worksite to film the banglas and indian workers for the trip home after their work.
Harun was the Bangladeshi worker we're featuring in our documentary. He was busy but yet he made sure we got a cab and even came out fifteen minutes after we bade goodbye and checked on us.

It made me think...the basis of being human is because we are all primarily innocent and pure. The willingness to help another fellow being is default within us.

If not for this project, I might still be having mixed impressions about foreign workers. But Harun and Gopal has really let me see, the goodness in people exist irregardless of race, religion, age, etc.

It sounds so cliched...but to see it for myself is really impactful. It really touches me how they can go all out to ensure our filming gets done smoothly.

sigh...People. We are such simple yet complicated things.

The photoshoot today was quite fun!

Although I got a rather unsightly tan because of the reflector and the harsh sun. But it was still interesting because I got to walk on the pool at the NP Alumni clubhouse...
yea I walked on it...haha. even got my heels wet.

Anyway, on friday night, we went to send Melody off at the airport. Bert was very sweet. He set up a blog for her, which I will link up soon.

Gawd.
I really hate it when my skin tone gets made fun of.
People may think I'm petty or picky...but try thinking of something you really hate about yourself, and imagine it being made fun of.

It's getting hard to try to laugh things off and pretend they don't affect you. But it has always been my style to laugh things off and try not to make a scene.

Then I let it affect me when I'm alone reflecting about things that went on in the day as I shower or clear my thoughts on the way home.

Ever since lower secondary days, I have been very disturbed by my skin colour and the fact that I get tanned damn easily.

To always verbally say it out to friends doesn't mean I am happy with it. I'm merely stating a fact.

People who know me well would probably know I avoid the sun like Vampires do. But not as extreme as them because they would die from it and well, I- would just get dark.
lol...

To have a blog to voice such issues that bother me is great because once I unload them, I feel so much lighter...
But I'm worried that friends who read this, may feel I am using this as a means to "warn" sensitive issues.

I sincerely hope not...as I do not want people around me to feel they have to filter what they say around me.

I always felt it is better to be focus on your flaws so you can improve and make each flaw turn into a strength.

Lately, I find myself losing that ability and am getting very consumed by its negativity.

I know I need braces. But it's not like I'm the next-of-kin to the God of Fortune lol...

Sadly, this might just be my obstacle for moving onto greater heights.

I suppose my only redeeming factor is my height. Which is again, not a big deal being 169cm.
I'm neither model material nor the petite chick that guys seem to like to date.
Maybe I'm really 170cm; but still, no biggie.

I was thinking about our dinner at Sakae this evening. We are such a noisy bunch. Is that what youthfulness brings about in people?

Sometimes being in a group in those situations can make me very brainless. And as much as I feel very happy during the dinner, the difference after we leave can make me feel a little odd.

When I was standing at the platform towards Pasir Ris, I felt so quiet.
I know "quiet" is an improper adjective in that sentence but I just felt calmness surround me all of a sudden and that makes me feel we were noise pollutants at the restaurant earlier on.

Then I recall JJ's quote and I do think I might actually be
a noisy person trapped in a quiet person's body

I never really understood that phrase until this evening.

Sometimes I feel I have a lot of things to share and rant about. Then I get all quiet because there's actually nothing much.

But when I get quiet, people assume I'm sad/angry/not feeling well.

Does it mean I give people the impression that I'm super chatterboxy? To the point where if I'm just quiet it means I'm definitely sad/angry or not feeling well?
I thought the not feeling well part was quite :O

I get tired too. I have the quiet me too. Sometimes I wonder why am I not that horoscope

I look in the mirror and all I see are flaws.

Everyone in my lecture is used to using the term "perfectionist" to describe the hard-core picky students who mind even which font size goes, etc.

But to me, that's only perfectionism at academic level.
Am I shallow when I always seem to judge people on their appearance?

But I don't go shunning people who may not know green don't exactly go with purple, etc.

I just feel everyone can be better looking, everyone can make an effort to dress up a little more, etc.

Surely you would feel someone with nice fingernails, well-dressed would be more pleasant than someone who is in mismatched clothing and has acne problems?

Of course that's the surface level judging, but I feel that is the part of you to take care of FIRST.

Because everyday, as you make your way to school or work, your image, your body, is what others see first. And it is very important to maintain a clean image.

Of course, academic perfection probably outweighs surface perfection a whole lot but I do believe prettier people always get the better end of the deal.

I can't keep up with my own standards.
I need perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect body, perfect skin tone,etc.

all of which I've only attained half. I've even only got double eyelid on one eye. fuck that.

For the past week, a lot went through my head.

I struggled to keep those voices out of my head as I could hardly hear myself think. Ironic lah, since I'm thinking, but I mean, it was hard to be in reality and be in my own world simultaneously and I kinda screwed the balance a little this week.

I knew I was rather easily agitated this week, and I tried my best to avoid my friends so I would not risk shouting or snapping at one of those whom I care, and most definitely do NOT want to shout at.

I don't know why this came over me all of a sudden. I guess, it's just one of those phases that you realise a little bit more about Life?

And as I'm typing, Blogger is implementing its new system of correcting your words like Microsoft Word. It just underlined "realise" in red because it was an "s" instead of a "z".

oh so anal. Let us blog in peace!

I got quite frustrated at how some things are done and how people do some things.
I hate second guessing all the time and I find myself increasingly having to do that; and not only that, I find myself second guessing my own intentions for the fear of miscommunicating my point to whoever it is.

And it's as if some Dementor swept by my room one night and sucked me of all my happiness and positivity.
pardon the Harry Potter language...can't wait for the movie!

All of a sudden, it seemed as though there's a dark cloud raining above me. I did not even realise how negative I had been until I found words relating to poor looks ringing in my head.
They were ringing about myself, and at an alarming rate and volume until I couldn't comprehend my own inner thoughts.

And matters worsened when I took comments from others a little toooo personally this past week.
Especially radio journ class.
omg...WTF, seriously.

I can't stand myself getting all mean as I complained to Steph. That diva me was frightening.
I hope it gets tucked back into the most remote corner of me and stay there for...now. haha.

I guess I just needed to release all the pent up negativity and now, I'm feeling a lot better after making Catherine and Steph's ears sore. =P
I have not been so angry in such a long time. It was a mixture of exasperation, frustration and anger topped with some low self esteem.

Anyway, such revelations come once in awhile...lol. All I can hope is my EQ increases with each outburst and may each outburst take a longer time to appear in between and last much shorter each time.

Jason and I went to the Closing Ceremony at the National Stadium ytd. It was such an interesting event at some points.

I never knew soccer could make our sg men get quite worked up. Or perhaps it was just those I happened to sit around.

Vulgarities spewing out like running tap water whenever something crucial happens on the field was enough to make me wonder and understand why there are almost always casualties in matches held in other countries.

and how could we forget the local Classic -Queues and more queues.

The long queue for the prata sausage (sg's version of the Hangzhou ji dan guan bing)
I think we queued 45mins for that?

The long queue for the overpriced drinks. (who could blame them? It's their last chance to make a killing at the National Stadium)
I think we queued for 45mins too and missed the entertainment during the half-time of the match.

Then, we queued again, for the SBS bus which supposedly saves twice as much time but we ended up waiting for an hour and still we didn't spot a single shit after we missed the first (and is that the last?) bus.

So we actually walked all the way to my grandma's place at Old Airport Rd and got a cab because Lady Luck smiled on us.

We concluded that we spent more time queuing/walking than actually enjoying the event...
hahaha.

We left the event at about 10.35pm. I reached home at 12plus.

Steph and me went to The Esplanade on last Friday to catch
Nathan Hartono's concert at the Recital Studio.
I guess I should credit Trimedia for the free tickets? haha!

He was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. C'mon he's only...15? And he sings with such emotion and with such ease. Belting out jazz tunes after jazz tunes for an hour at that age is no easy feat.
His voice is simply mesmerising.

Ming Bridges as the guest singer was expected yet it came as a surprise as I thought it was His personal concert.

But like all concerts, there was the need for a costume change (sponsored by Tangs, no less, but can be better...hahaha A|X next time round?)
and Ming came in for a duet before going on to a solo bit, doing her own rendition of Corrine Bailey Rae's played to death "Put your record on"

Her performance was lacklustre and rather disappointing. Well, it's hard to sound magnificent I suppose, when Nathan was before you to contrast your vocals.

There's room for improvement, Ming. :)

Oh I speak as if I were an expert. Speaking of which, her personal instructor, Aaron who's freelancing now, I heard, and no longer in Lwssom, was at the event too.
So was Hideaki.

Saw Celester and his friend too. :)

Kenneth and friend came along with us too, and he had a press kit. cool...

I guess, with the chance meeting of all the music people, that Music still links us all eventually......

I just managed to get the pics from Steph's blog...
These pictures serve as evidence that are aptly described by her that

We stayed in school till 8-9pm that day. I still remember it was a day before our docpro pitch and Eve and I were getting the powerpoint slides done at the benches on the 8th floor. Steph was editing her/our (hehe) radio assignment, Jiewei and Joyce just ended their *cough* elitist tea party organised by our course manager.

and we were all HIGH because of schoolwork.

AND, I think we all concluded this is what happens to mass-commers when we stay late doing work. We get high...
natural high. HAHAHA.

and...here's what we did as we walked out of school.
My pose is not the glamour-est of the lot...in fact I had to bend because I was too tall and would block the words.
Hmm...actually, it wouldn't really matter if I did anyways. oh well! :)

We also screamed and talked loudly as we walked past the carpark. Howling like wolves, quacking like ducks, roaring like lions and barking like dogs, and even meowing like cats. Joyce...makes good cat calls. Pun intended lol.
Jiewei shunned us like a few metres away. and he became Old McJiewei...
we were insane.

Jolin. She's a good performer and this is why I think so.
It's not easy...
According to her artiste mgmt company, they insured 1 billion for this performance because there was fire around her for the last bit. It was quite near man.
I like the edited part of the intro for this Live performance. Although it was obvious during the chorus part that perhaps her mic was softer and her cd was played. But at least the live intro is still PITCH PERFECT.

I do not think she was less deserving than the others like what the critic in the mandarin papers wrote...
In fact, the best female vocalist does not just weigh how much you deserve it on vocal quality alone. It is an overall assessment of your results for the entire year. And I do think she shone in comparison to A*Mei, Sandy and even Penny.
Next year, they can try harder.
Perhaps...Penny's PR skills aren't strong too.
It's the MEDIA after all.
SUCK IT UP AND ACCEPT THE SHIT.

A lot of factors are dependent variables for such things...
I feel the Mars artiste mgmt company is quite solid...most of their artistes get a lot of different types of ads, dramas as well as album or event opportunities.

But I do feel a bit shocked at the winner for the Best Male Vocalist.
Nicky??
I do not doubt his efforts but there were more deserving male nominees in this category.

So much has gone on for the past week...
So much for having a 2-week term break- half of it was spent on Broadcast Asia @ Expo! grr.

Last weekend we had a little gathering, just us, LB, Su, Fred and me.
Played arcade LOL...craved for the bball game. We went for brunch at the HK Cafe beside Katong Mall. so-so food. The no. 1 is still Kim Gary at Vivocity!!

Fathers' Day Celebration!
We went to this Korean BBQ place at East Coast. It was just beside the new BK Drive-thru. Cool ah...it's time to move with the times, BK! Looking fwd to more drive-thrus...haha.
I like the style of Korean BBQ where you wrap the meat with the cabbage/lettuce/etc leaves...Very healthy and refreshing.
It allows you to have an equal intake of vegetables as meat during a BBQ and keeps your appetite fresh because too much meat can make you sick of BBQ-ed food.

It was a spread! and nope, I still don't like KIMCHI! Maybe except for the cold tofu...

I like eating with metal chopsticks... :)

I love my nephew! Although he doesn't seem to like me very much in this pic HAHAHA.

Broadcast Asia @ Expo- 19 June-22June- aka 2nd week of Term break Hols GONE.
Some sessions were interesting...some were less interesting. :/
This was how it looked like on the 1st few sessions. Seats were almost filled up.

The session I was supposed to cover was Session 7- News for Radio - Gathering and Using.
Working with Ms Koh was......interesting.
She's rather eccentric like what the rest all agree upon.

Day 1 Lunch Break! I brought the dumplings my mum made...yummy!

I seriously don't understand how Ling Yi Chen can be cast for tv shows when her double chin is very serious.
It's so distracting and unpleasant.

If you're a fan of the feathered kind...perhaps you won't detest her as much as I do. :X

I just came back from Compass Point...where I bumped into Wilfred.

Anyway, I decided to check out Sembawang for Elva's 2nd version of her [1087] album. I went over there and looked around before asking an assistant when I couldn't locate it.

Me: Hi, do you have the repackaged version of Elva's new album?

Ignorant Assistant: oh...we don't have. Elva has repackaged album?? We didn't receive news. She has???

Me: hmm. it's ok.

The tone she spoke to me was as though she was challenging my knowledge of the repackaged album.

And it just goes to show how ignorant she is! Dumb. That album has LONG BEEN OUT IN TAIWAN LOR.

Ignorant! How can she work in a cd store with such little knowledge?!
Bu then again, you can't expect * cough* knowledgeble people like *cough* me to work in some mere cd store right? That'd be such.a.waste.

The first time I heard this song [Girl Next Door] on radio, I actually paid closer attention to the lyrics. Usually I'd just listen to the general tune if I'm hearing a song for the first time.

I went on to ask Steph for the song...and it's on my playlist now!

The words are so apt. I don't deny I've felt the same way as how the lyrics described the girl.
